Egg prices at $5? I'd rather not eat it, not like they're golden eggs...

Well its the same as Soda pop or Cokes and Pepsi you can buy it for $0.80 to S$0.90 in large Supermarkets but people still eat at hawker centres where they cost around $1.20 - right?

I WILL buy and eat eggs I love 'em chucks!

The prices are so expansive because since singapore banned eggs from malaysia, a really major egg import, shops have to import eggs from further places and it means more expansive import fees. Anyway, singapore just lifted the ban on johor and another state of malaysia, so prices would drop soon but not that much. :D
