RATS !!!!

Post by ffsgrelier » Thu, 02 Oct 2008 9:33 pm

quick question ...

My hubby works near Capital Square in the CBD and has recently noticed a lot of rats around the place when he goes out for lunch or on his way home.

Is it highly unusual ? There is a lot of work being done out there with mrt and what not, is this the reason ? Where do you report such a thing ?

Thanks for your replies

rats are everywhere in every country. the work must have digged them out. usually they come out in gang during the night.

You can even see them in the shrubbery patches along Orchard Road by Palais Renaissance & the Thia Embassy. Also near lot's of hawker centres. With the big monsoon drains all over the island they have their own subway tunnels to get around in. They are pretty big, some of 'em but they're still small compared to the one's I've seen in BKK or JKT.

Hi
Thanks for your replies. I have seen quite a few of those 4 legged pests around before but never so many in broad daylight especially near all those restaurants at lunch time :o . Should people not report it somewhere so there is a bit more housekeeping being done on those building sites maybe ? It is rather gross when you are walking around before lunch. Some may say it is good for the diet by putting you off food though
