A lot depends on where you would live in Sing and where you would live in Aus. Lots of pros and cons for both, but we don't know what you like about where you are now.

Thanks for all answers. I am living in Sin now but i'm getting my Aus PR soon. I have a dilemma where to choose to live. I'm on EP in Sin. in Australia i would choose Sydney .
Would you know about cultural , tax, housing differences in Aus and Sin?
What i dont like abt Sin is that it's very crowded, hasty and you dont feel welcomed by locals.
Thanks.

Hi I'm from Australia (Melbourne) an I absoloutly love it there. I miss it every second of every day. I miss the superficial things like being greeted at the checkout by a smile and a "hello' instead of just a blank stare, having a fellow driver let you in when you are trying to merge in traffic, having everyones meals all come out at once at a restaurant...things that you have to deal with everyday.
As far as housing goes, rent prices have been raised a lot in Australia over the last couple of years but they are no where near what you pay in Singapore.
Taxes are high in Australia, here we pay half as what we would back home.
The weather is singapore remains mostly the same, in some parts of Aus you can have 4 seasons in one day!
So as has been said there are pro's and con's for both, but in my opinion after having been here for almost 2 years Australia and Singapore aren't even in the same ball park...Australia win's hands down.

oh sorry just one more thing to add...if you don't like crowds than you don't want to choose Sydney...and us Aussies will always make you feel welcome!

Thanks a lot and i have already fallen in love with australia especially with the points you mentioned. I just visited Sydney, brisbane and Gold coast.
