You should have visited the outlet at orchard. Beautiful i must say but the service is just not there.
I'm a expartriate traveling and living in SG for couple of years and well, as much as cosmetic works are done... the service is still not superb.
We were there again couple of days back to the open concept store and imagine the surprise... they don't sell coffee as machine is spoilt? Hmm...
authentic amercian just want simple espresso to kick start the day but am offered some weird blended drinks that staff not able to tell me what is proposed.
It is usually kinda jam pack during late nights and we would be quite tolerant for poorer service. Brought my biz associates to glimspe at the orchard belt and of course to end our long day of work. Food was slow, well.. understood. But am rather annoyed when the reason given was staffs forgotten to key in. This add on another 45 mins... Thus, we are offered some desserts/ snacks as serivce recovery. Well, no harm as they taste ok and my guys and biz friends are having a good chat.
The funniest laughter we got to end the unpleasant evening is to have tispy mgr serving us. Am very amused as it's just funny how this tispy lady behave. Thank god my wife ain't around... i Can't remember and neither should i want to remember this blonde hair lady.... She just quite a joke herself. Taking it personally, she is simply unprofessional.
Of course, i patronize again. Kind of like the ambience. i learn from the asian chinese i.e. to forgive and be tolerance. Guess that will never surfix in my country, USA .. Washington.
Buck up the serivce quality, coffee club.
Any of you faced what i had?

Woah... you should buck up on your English. But I have to agree with you--the standard of service in Singapore simply sucks.

Seems you still need to recover from your experiences there. Or did you take the tipsy waitress for a drink, but got drunk yourself when she refused to kiss you.
Agree as well: service needs attention there.

No regrets getting the Nespresso cos they have many different pod flavours as well as compatibility with other brands and they're easy to operate.
