Simple question on Bedroom numbers

Post by MrBear » Mon, 29 Sep 2008 8:35 pm

Hi all,

I have a quick question, while looking at the condos to rent i see on some of them the number of bedrooms +1

What dose the +1 stand for?

examples;
"Bdrm 3+2"
"Bdrm 3+1"
"Bdrm 2+1"

thanks

MrB

usually the +1 means the maids room or could double as utility room. in an older building this is usually a good size room. in a newer building they are sometimes bomb shelters that the agent will also tell you could be a storage closet or maids room (:( )

Thanks that explains it. I saw my friends 'maids' room was about the size of a jail cell.....

So realy means bedrooms + store room :)
