Hi all,

its my 3rd day after surgery at TOKAI CLINIC with Dr.Pat.

i did Rhinoplasty and Dr.Pat did a little tip-plasty as well.
he charged me 800USD for everything.

The operation.
i woke up 20mins before it ended, i could feel what they were doing but was wayyy too drowsy to be shocked and all.

*just remember to ask Dr.Pat to let you sleep longer*

After-Op
I rested for about an hour before i left. my mom was with me so i was fine.
one thing though, i didnt have the splint or cast over me.

i'm really worried about shifting of the implants now.

Day 3
went for check up today. Dr.Pat says everything is ok
but since i'm leaving tomorrow, if the implants shift sent a picture to him or adjust it myself.

As everyone who went to Tokai has said the NURSES are WONDERFUL ^_^.
Na, Pom, Bee, Nid are just soo sweet.
you'll feel just at home with these few girls around ^_^

How's your nose after day 3? I'm on my day 4 now, still looking like a monster with black eyes, red nose. However, it has been a lot better than the first day, I can see the nose shape clearer day by day. This morning I was so freaking out because my nose and tip looked so big, I told the staffs and they said nothing to worry, it would be smaller. Now I can see the nose looks better compared to the morning, or maybe I'm getting used to it.
- I have no cast/ splint either, I don't think there are problems with it. My nose is quite stiff due to excessive swelling so I can't sense the implant by touching.
- I can see my eyes being pulled closer to each other because the skin is stretched too much. Do you also experience this ? My eyes were big and round, but now they are smaller, longer, and closer to each other. This makes my face look very different and weird.

A funny thing is that Dr Pat asked me to choose a nose shape I like from photos of models/ singers in magazines and he brought it into the operation room. I chose the photo of the girl they called Thailand superstar lol. Not sure whether my nose will look like hers in one week.

Hi everyone. I consulted Dr. Pat a few months ago and he told me that my nose has a slight deviation and bends slightly to the right. He told me that he'll be able to straighten the nose bridge for about US$1000 which is only a fraction of the price that the other doctors quoted me.

May I know if anyone has done this procedure with him before and how was the outcome? Upon asking him, he told me that he's not an ENT and not an American & Thai board certified plastic surgeon either and it worries me a little in that aspect.

So far, the photos that Dr. Pat showed me of his nose work are of those who are modifying their nose tip and those who have a curve nose (have a hump on the nose) and it looks pretty good. Unfortunately it's not the nose surgery which he suggested to me.

If he is not a qualified surgeon, how can he practise in Thailand for so long? I mean wont it be illegal? Someone pls clarify this matter too as I m intending to have some cosmetic surgeries done in Tokai... but frankly, I dont mind as long as Dr.Pat delivers good, effective results with safety assured

I look like "zhu ba jie's" wife now!
yup. i'm going through similar things. my eyes are now much smaller and narrow i think due to swelling as well.

my nose is still swollen like crazy. the skin feels really tight and all.
hopefully nothing goes wrong the next few days. cos i'm terrified if the implants shift.

yea! the nurses were so cute, they were like "choose which nose you like" and we were flipping through the pages together choosing and criticizing @_@ *oops*. i dont know the person i chose, but her nose is soooo pretty.

Anyway, when will you be back in singapore?

when ur bridge is raised, ur eye shape will change for sure, but u're still swelling now, u can see the final shape of ur eyes in a month's time

Also, how long does it take before the implants are set and wont shift even if i exercise?

Id like to go around june/july time. Still researching the surgeons in thailand but looks like dr pat looks like my best bet so far as he does tiplasty and alar. Am going to sound stupid but is alar reduction the same as alar BASE reduction?
