When I went there it was pretty evident that what she told me was true as some of their faces are on the lift doors. Went up and saw this Dr Surasit. If you happen to go there don't worry about the selection of doctors as Bangmod is small hospital and there is only one ps doctor. From the scale of his clinic and number of customers, he should be pretty famous. Did not see any foreigners though... Only me... Costs me 50000baht for nose and 40000 baht for buccal fat. Now its not up to me to comment on his work as I have not recovered yet... But based on his resume and patients, he should be quite good. Hope this helps[/code]
So what is the outcome?aadvark wrote:his liposuction was not bad, i could see my face visibly slimmer when i compared b4 and after pix
now in bkk, going to consult tokai tmr abt the jaw implants again, and then with yanhee. i wanna try yanhee, but the cost is a little high... if tokai gonna charge me higher than previously then i think i will just remove and be done with it
Good luck. Dr pat uses soft silicone which is safer.doveybuzz wrote:Hey guys.
i'm planning to go to Tokai Clinic and get tip-plasty and alarplasty with Dr.Pat in January 2009.
i feel so re-assured with the comments here on the clinic.
i've been emailing Dr.Pat as well.
I have a few questions though.
I'm thinking of getting Rhinoplasty but i'm worried about the implants risks.
what are your feelings on implants?
Also, does Dr.Pat do Ear cartilage graft for Tip-plasty?
Thank you all
i did my jaw implants with tokai, my lower lips were also numb for quite a while. i did reflect this to Dr Pat, and told him i was concerned my nerve may be damaged. he told me he did from inside my mouth along my gums, so there is no reason why it shld damage the nerve at the lip. just had to take his word for it and waitincamaiden wrote:Hi,
I need some serious advice from anyone who might have had the same experience as me.
I had my jaw shaving done at Tokai clinic. Still slightly swollen as expected. BUT, my lower lip has been numb for the past 2 weeks plus already making my smile look unbalanced. I couldn't wait around and do nothing and decided to check on it. A PS is suggesting that I have surgery done to try and repair the nerve even though this kind of surgery does not give very good chance or recovery. From the tests done, he's quite sure that the nerve has been cut during my jaw shaving surgery at Tokai.
I'm worried that my nerve damage is really permanent and surgery to repair it seem to be the only option.
Can anyone advice me?!?!
Hi, thanks for the response. Mine was done from the inside though he did mention that there was a lot of bleeding. Check with you, when your right side recovered do you see yourself having a lopsided smile? Mine was jaw shaving, so not sure if how similar it would be to your implants. Did you went to any other PS to check on the numbness as you waited for them to recover on their own? I'm hoping that its only temporary due to the swelling, but the other PS that I talked to was saying that the longer i wait, the harder it might be to repair the damaged nerve. And he did do some nerve testing on my lip area which did not response even when a high current was passed through, which he said even if nerve is damaged they should still be able to respond involuntarily just that on our own we cant really control that part until the numbness goes away.aadvark wrote:i did my jaw implants with tokai, my lower lips were also numb for quite a while. i did reflect this to Dr Pat, and told him i was concerned my nerve may be damaged. he told me he did from inside my mouth along my gums, so there is no reason why it shld damage the nerve at the lip. just had to take his word for it and waitincamaiden wrote:Hi,

it got better as time went by and right side got back feeling after few weeks. few months later, the feeling came back to the left side as well. cld have been due to microscopic swelling, maybe wait a while more and see? did he do from inside as well for u?
Thats terrible... I think you should go for the surgery. Your nerve is most likely cut through. ( Trigeminal nerve? ). He resected alot?incamaiden wrote:Hi,
