I am also very very disappointed with Dr. Pat's work. I got my surgery done more than a year back and he told me to wait for a year to see the exact results. However, my nose looks more bulbous, weird and he has made one nostril bigger than other.. and it looks very funny sometimes in photos.. Few people might get angry by my comments, but I honestly think that he is not very talented plastic surgeon or may be i was quite unfortunate that he managed to screw up in my case only..

I am also willing to go for revision surgery.. but havent been able to plan about my leaves and right doctor. Though he was very nice and told me to revisit his clinic and he would fix it for free, but I think that I will rather prefer to cut my wrists than getting surgery done by him again.


Beachlover, to which doctor are you thinking to go for your revision surgery.. please let me know.

thinking of doing it end sept since i will be in BKK. anyone wanna go together? not sure if i shd really go ahead with it.... d money spent can be used elsewhere. i'm in a dilemma whether to spend that money or to keep it.

who will cast the first stone? no one can judge la, u have to decide what u really want and learn to stop once u achieve it. MJ was obsessed.

I told Dr.pat I want to look more caucasian.
That would make me look eurasian cause of the black hair right?
So.. I sent him a picture of Zac Efron and my picture of reference.
He said no problem.
But I need chin and jaw augmentation as well..

I said, cool.
But then I found out that caucasians have much different facial feature/structure from asians.
Their eyebrows are much closely spaced from their eyes.
And my eyebrows are widely spaced from my eyes.

Also, my hairline is M and Zac Efron's hairline is round like.
So, I am screwed?

Don't worry, I wont make myself the next MJ.

I have seldom seen people getting lot of procedures done at the same time. Considering you are looking for a big change in your looks, probably you should consult a clinic which provides virtual imaging etc. to substantiate how will you look after the surgeries. Some reputed clinics have advanced softwares to provide post-surgery results to their clients.. so that they can baseline their clients' expectations. Chin augmentation is usually done with rhinoplasty to keep the harmony of the face.. considering your new nose can be too long for your face, doctors usually recommend chin augmentation in that case.. I am not too sure about other procedures but i think you should definitely consider chin aug. with rhinoplasty.

Dr. Pat is very open for discussions and you can meet him personally to discuss about your expectations. However, I am not too happy with his skills, but there are few people here who seem to be satisfied with his work. Also you can think about Dr Kao and Dr. Hsu.. they seem to be quite famous for rhinoplasty (you can probably check their sites for the reference).

Then.. Thailand doctors hardly do autologous?
And.. Taiwan so expensive!!

I will try to find a doctor that does autologous rhinoplasty in Thailand.
Then go for the chin and jaw augmentation if needed..(If I look like a piece of crap).
But seriosly. How does the doctor know what looks good and what doesnt in me?
No virtual imaging.. very scared the implant dont suit my face.

And the mentioning of titanium screws?
What if my implant become loose in front of everyone I know?

I agree that clinics with virual imaging will cost you more there.. considering they let you see the expected results before the surgery itself.

I actually didnt recommend you taiwan because its costly. In my opinion, if something costs more that doesnt mean its better. I really dont believe in that cr*p.
I recommended you those doctors because you can see the results at their websites and it seems we have more people who have done their rhino in taiwan with those docs and can perhaps share their experience and results with you. What I wanted to highlight to you was.. their experience as plastic surgeon not because they charge you more. Moreover, it seems I am not the only one who is not contented with Dr. Pat's work.. you can see two more forumers (beachlover and poshbear?) here who are not satisfied with his work.. I have nothing against Dr. Pat.. he and his staff treat his patients very nicely and he was kind enough to tell me that he is ready to do revision surgery for free, its just that i have kinda lost the faith in his skills!

Anyhow, i was just sharing my experience because you asked for it. I think i was the second one in this forum to go for rhino with Dr. Pat and didnt have enough details about his experience. I must say that it was a hasty decision. If i were you, i would rather wait to have enough money to go to an experienced doctor with many "real" references and results to see. Trust me on this, getting cheap surgery from not so experienced doc and later lamenting about it.. is not only waste of money but also very frustating.. atleast thats what my experience tells

I read the topic from page 5 to page 12.
Seems like Doctor Pat is Experienced Yet Old.
He also seems to be unrevised in recent Plastic Surgery Breakthroughs and methods, and hence does not perform other plastic surgery or more advanced surgery.
And he might offer free revision surgery. HE MIGHT.
And he only looks through his mail once a day, from 6:30-6:45 and end at 7:15 like that..
He seems to overestimate the art of the human facial feature.
He is confident that he can make an asian a caucasian.
It is edvident that both races have different facial feature/facial structure.
Ireally doubt him.

Should I go for PoshBear's Doctor?
Price is another problem.
Dr. Pat and his Nurses seems nice.
But my face is more important than the atmosphere.
So is my money!

Dr. Nara is a God-Like person, he say what he thinks.
In short, hes stubborn.
But you can force him to give you the nose you want.
He won't be happy though.
But if you let him pick you your nose,
you and your wallet won't be happy!
Oh.. and his prices are OUTRAGEOUSLY CHEAP.
So you can afford it (:

Well.. bumrungrad hospital is expensive and it kinda messed up.
You will never know which doctor ends up operating on you.
The old and experienced and somewhat grumpy and stubborn,
or the young inexperienced and yet open to new ideas.
Surgery in this hospital is expensive but yet comfortable...

Yanhee hospital is made it clear that they do not do autologous,
not sure with other doctor/clinic/hospital.
Well, they charge somewhat exorbitant prices too.

So... at first I wanted to be operated in Bumrungrad, then at Tokai.
Now still waiting for PoshBear's reply. So.. I am somewhere near Tokai.

He seems veryconfident he cant turn me into Zac Efron.
He also mentioned Botox for eyelids, to make me have lower eyebrow?
He also mentioned brow bone shaving.

The next procedure he's gonne promote is forehead augmentation and hair transplantation liao. Since my hair line is so high..

Let's see what Dr. Nara has to say.
Since Dr.Nara is cheaper and seems better.

Anyone know what Dr.Nara is not very good at?
Besides discussing which nose jaw and chin you should have?

Chin implant 28,000 Baht(1160SGD)

Above are the prices Dr.Pat quoted to me.
Are they reasonable? or Can I haggle for more discount?
