chemical peels

Post by tanyacatherine » Mon, 22 Sep 2008 12:38 pm

Chemical peel refers to the technique of improving the appearance of the facial skin by means of special chemical solutions. These solutions gradually remove the outermost layer of the skin, which is affected by wear and tear, and/or infection, and shows undesirable blemishes, wrinkles, or ugly pigmentation. The older skin, peeled off by the solutions, is replaced by naturally growing, younger, and smoother skin. Chemical peel is therefore a kind of cosmetic treatment for facial skin.

chemical peel

The chemical peel solution is applied to the skin to trigger a "blistering" effect that loosens and effectively causes the targeted outer layer to eventually peel off.

Go to Dr. S Ong, Paragon 7th floor, Shenton clinic. I did 3 times (approx 3-4 mos interval) and was satisfied with it. My skin is sensitive, prone to acne and oily. Skin texture is improved and complexion is brighter.

may i ask how much was your peel treatment per time? do you pay upfront for a package of few times? is there any downtime? can you see that your skin improved after 1 treatment? thanks ! (:
