The irresponsible pizza company.

Post by typical_gal89 » Sat, 20 Sep 2008 6:25 pm

I am a regular customer of 'X' pizza company. The reason why I choose their pizza is because it's the cheapest pizza I can find and the taste of the pizza is consider good to me. But on this day of 12 September 2008, I ordered 2 pizzas and potato wedges which should cost me about S$25.50, but when my brother passed me the receipt, it wrote S$33. Never mind, so I called them back to double confirm it's their fault, so this lady said:"Alright we will sent your money back later". (With no sincerity) I waited so long and they didn't even came. I was pissed off, so I wrote an e-mail to the company about the incident that happened the day before. I waited like days for their reply but they didn't write me back...

Isn't it your fault for not checking the receipt/bill?

It would seem to me, that according to the receipt, the amount you were charged was correct. I am assuming that the price you felt you should have been charged, $25.50, was either the price you have paid in the past or was listed as that on your take away menu. Is it possible that they have increased their price to cover cost of inflation and petrol?
If you are as concern as you say you are, than you need to go to the address of the establishment (with your receipt and menu which you ordered from) and discuss this with them face to face.
I agree with QRM, this matter should have been discussed with the driver when he delivered. Didn't the person taking the order give you the total price on the phone when you ordered?

Respond to QRM & Matney.

QRM- I called for the order, but it's my brother who take the pizza. Well, he didn't check the receipt. I didn't say it's ALL their fault. Our fault is we didn't check carefully of the receipt. Their fault is they should sent our money back. Satisfy with my answer?

Matney- You said:

The amount I were charged wasn't correct! I ordered a regular pizza which should cost S$23, instead, they wrote S$30.50 (price of medium pizza). I have to disagree with your assumption. I have been ordering their pizza since the past and now, so I'm very sure of the prices. And no possible it can be for the increased to cover cost of their inflation and petrol.

Seriously, I am lazy to go all the way down to "discuss" with them. And like I said it's my brother who didn't check on the receipt. I called striaght after I found the prices stated wrongly.

Now the problem is not about who's fault! Or you can say both? Now, I just want to say that, I called to clarify it, but they didn't respond.

I have to make this clear. Now, it's not about the money thing. It's about responsibility here.

I believe it's a matter of principle and TS hope that they can improve after this incident because I assume she will be getting pizza from them after this case is settled.

However, i would like to suggest to TS to have the company's name erased till the alleged company had refund You as it bring reputation damage to the alleged.

I also suggest that maybe writing to the press is a more effective way of getting an answer from the company.
