Hi, I am a representative from Dragon D'or

Post by organic_gal » Thu, 11 Feb 2010 1:28 am

I am really astounded by the comments made on Wing Long Trading aka Dragon D'or.

Personally, I am been working with them for many years and I know that they have been known for selling only authentic products to customers. True enough, the service may not be as polite and sweet as those you received from sales girls in shopping centres. As a matter of fact, all these service comes with extra costs and this is also a reason why Wing Long can provide products at a lower price than most retailers in shopping centres.

Secondly, please do not use "local rip-offs" because these are the little shops which allow many Singaporeans to survive till this point in time, be it sellers or purchasers. If you are saying these shops are "local rip-offs", it just goes to show that you are merely a victim of what we termed "commercialisation".

As I have known them for over 20 years, Wing Long Trading has made a name for itself in the cosmetics market. It has brought in brands such as Nature's Gate into Singapore market. 20 years ago, Beijing 101 was brought into Singapore market by Wing Long Trading as well. Dear all, please dont stereotype the authenticity and quality of goods. You will be surprised to find out that quality do not come from retailers in shopping centres. This is true not just for the cosmetics and beauty market, but for many products. If you are a truely quality-looking customer, you will know where to go to find quality, yet value for money products.

And lastly, forum is a place where we can share opinions, but bear in mind that also comes as a double-edged sword. Always watch our comments because you might never know the truth unless you are directly involved in it.

Thank you.

That is reason enough why I would recommend NEVER using this company. Good service costs nothing. This means you are ripping off the customer as you are charging for something that should come naturally and free. That's the problem with some of you people!

LOL. There is a reason why I made this comment as a reply to the insults given RIGHTFULLY to Wing Long Trading. Personally, I know both Wing Long Trading and Purveyance and I definitely know these 2 company long and well enough to have made this comment.

Unless you know this market well and what is going on, do not say your point of view, i mean if there is a point, like a typical Singaporean who judge a book by its cover. Anyway, everyone has their choices.

Watsons and Guardian are now selling organic skincare ranges which are much more affordable than most. I bought some of the Sukin stuff from Watsons (Sukin have a website I believe if people want to check them out) - I got hair conditioner from their range which wasn't very good but the shower gel, eye serum and moisturiser are fine (the conditioner didn't do the job for me but it might be OK for people with better conditioned hair than mine).

I also bought some rosehip oil (I can't remember what brand it is, there were two in there) and that's quite good for dry skin although I have found that ants love it and I found them all over the bottle one morning so I have to seal it tightly and rinse the bottle after use now to stop them going crazy for it - LOL, the joys of living in the tropics, even get bugs on your toiletries :D

Our local Fairprice (Marine Parade) has upgraded to a 'Finest' and does lots of organic stuff now, including toiletries and they do a really cheap conditioner which is only $1.95 - it does nothing for my over processed hair but my kids use it and have no problem with it.

Organic Hair Shampoo, Conditioner and treatment

Post by shannanq » Thu, 22 Jul 2010 8:24 am

If you are looking for Organic Hair Shampoo, Conditioner and treatment, maybe you can try Nexxen ReBorn.
Can find in hair salons, but not cheap though.
I heard from the stylist that this brand targets asia countries' hair, countries with hot sunny weather like singapore.

Your first post is a recommendation/advert? Better luck next time, if we don't ban you first.
