Hi,
I 've been in Singapore for 1 week and I stay for a long time so I'm looking for friends to kitesurf, or surf in Malaysia, Phuket or Indonesia, and wakeboard .
For kitesurfing :
There is a spot at mana mana sail club I think....and one at the north of changi airport. Since wenesday it's a little bit windy...so Saturday 20th I'd like to try. I have my equipment. Someone in ?
If not there is Bintan, Desaru, Kuatan Jason Bay but I've never been there...
For Surfing:
Does somebody plan to go somewhere to surf ? I've got my board too
For wakeboard :
I have friends who rent a boat at the north or there is the cable ski park, does someone try ?
see u

Hey guys, I'm a filmmaker from New York University and we're shooting a film about surfers in Singapore in early December. I was wondering if you might be able to help us out, as there are very few surfers in Singapore to talk to about this. Send me an email at NYUasia at gmail - My name is Eric Elofson

Has anybody tried the Cable Pull at ECP?
I have watched other people, but without a wake, not sure how much fun wakeboarding is?

Well.. u have to try it out urself. Personally, I prefer wakeboarding (Behind the boat) as compare to Cable. Theres alot more to do behind the boat. n much more challenging. At least not going in circles. lol.
If u had snowboard, surfing, or even skateboard.. Wakeboarding is definately ur thing.
Why don't u give a shot at both. And decide which u prefer most?

I went to the cable park (ski 360) saturday
I liked how easy it was to get up/started
it is also a good place to pratice tricks
I ride goofy foot, and I am trying to perfect the hop/jump switch to regular stance
I am pretty sure some observers got some amusement out of my face plants
None the less, I will be back again this weekend
Never give up, Never SUrrender

Hi, I just moved to Singapore and learned how to surf in Bali last year and surfed a few times(im still very beginner).
I also have tried wakeboarding a few times in Canada, so i'd be willing to join and try that too. how much does it cost?

I saw a package for trip to Indonesia (Batam) with ferry, food and one day cable wakeboarding for SGD$ 90.
I am try to go there within the next three weeks.
Otherwise I am still interested in surfing in Bali but don't really know how to set this up from Singapore (see my other post in the same section);

Hi all,
I've just joined this forum but been in Singapore long enough to realise there is no wind here
I am planning to get a first weekend getaway somewhere to a more windier place in early december. Don't know Bintan or Desaru..
So if someone of kitesurfers is planning to do the same I would be glad to join you, or at least have a beer somewhere in Singapore
See ya on the beach!

Does anybody know some information on surfing in Desaru?
Like some beginner lessons or surf rental?

I'm thinking of making a trip to desaru next weekend to try my hand at surfing! It seems relatively inexpensive too! Anyone keen to hit the road next weekend? Think we cld get on one of those coach or take a ferry there...
Interested, please email me at
[email protected]. Not sure if I can reply via pm, as I have restricted services access. Yes, I'm a newbie!
Would be fun!!! Cheers!

Hi Folks, I booked a flight for Bali 3rd week end of May! My goal is to surf during 2 days or, if the waves aren't that great at the time, to visit the island (temples, nature etc). Anyone interested to join?
