No problems with your PS2, but for "non-original" games, piracy is illegal in Singapore. And the rest of the world. Personally, I hope you do bring your pirated games, and get caught, and get punished to the greatest extent of the law, and then you tell your friends about it, and they will stop pirating other people's hard work.

You're welcome ""

Friendly bunch here eh

Like most places pirated software, DVD's etc are frowned upon here but it's very unlikely you'll get pulled . Unless of course you advertise them in your baggage.

Just be a bit discreet and you'll be fine.

PS and before all the goody two shoes mob jump on me. Yes i have had a couple of pirated games but only to try out and then i have bought the original disks. Yes really !!!!

Cheers

Well, sorry to sound unfriendly, but I actually earn my living in the game industry so you can understand my brutally honest opinion. I know in neighboring Malaysia, piracy is rampant but let's not make Singapore as IP insensitive as them, eh? Without going into a piracy discussion that will last forever, piracy does actually hurt the international opinion about doing business in a particular country.

But, I am quite friendly otherwise. Really!

Thats fair enough...i only ever "try out" games that dont already have a demo version for download. I have spent a lot of cash on games over the years and understand your point completely. It kinda bugs me that i get my wallet out while many don't but heh thats Asia i guess

Cheers

I can honestly say all software and or games I have are all legal. (Course my son might be a different story - I don't venture into his cave). :o

Thanks guys for the opinion.

well Random, I can understand your feeling, it's not good to own the pirated copy I have to admit. I have only 5 games in total and 2 of them are non original.
I always try to get the oiginal one, but sometime it is too expensive to get, expecially in malaysia.

Guys, guess I will only bring the original one to singapore then, thanks for the opinions, appreciate that.
