Help, looking for a Airline, good price and high performance

Post by Kakalu » Wed, 17 Sep 2008 9:25 am

Next month, i will be ShenZhen, China.
As a birthday gift, i hope this trip can be perfect. But i get some trouble at start.
There is few airlines for Singapore to Shenzhen, and the price i can not afford. I need a good arrangement so that i can save some money as much as possbile.

Does anybody have experience in China? thanks a lot. :)

Since Shenzhen is basically next to Hong Kong the cheapest way would be to take JetStar or United to HK then a bus/ferry direct from the airport to Shenzhen.

There are several bus and ferry companies with services directly from the airport.

If you want to arrive into Shenzhen directly, then you're stuffed with what you found.

Last time, I flew Shenzhen Airlines from Singapore to Nanning. Their price is reasonable at least I think so. I bought from their ticket office, but I am not sure whether they sell on their website. If you want you, look at http://www.shenzhenair.com

i concur with ScoobyDoes. check if flights to HK is cheaper, then take public transport into shenzhen. in HK, i took the MTR to Lo Wu and walk across.

if you are looking cheap of the cheap, then do your research and maybe travel via KL to macau, then to shenzhen.

OOO, AirAsia, that's a sneaky one. It's almost a pity they don't fly directly from JB.

I think, however, by the time you get to KL then the airport (there is no bus service from here to KLIA directly, i think) then Macau it's just a similar price as flying direct from here on JetStar or United.

I'm with Scooby - go DCT (DIRECT) to HKG on J* or SQ or CX, then bus/ferry - much easier - plus you get a view from the ground! Cheers, P

1. You can try Tiger Airways. But their flights will only reach at 11+pm.\
2. Next enter SZ via HK with Cathay Airlines. But need to fork out additional 1-2hrs and ard $15 for Air Bus.
3. Jetstar rate is quite similar to Cathay during promotion. Hence I prefer Cathay since it offer free food and drinks.
