Singapore Citizenship

Post by magm100 » Sun, 14 Sep 2008 6:28 pm

Good evening SG,

My Daughter and I applied for SG citizenship about 9 months ago and till date there has been no news. I am 31 and she is 2 years old.
A few days ago a lady called from ICA and asked for some documents (salary slip, CPF, Income Tax) which I had already submitted at the time of my application.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I don’t know whether to disband all hope, or keep my fingers crossed. Thanks :)

The wld suggest the following scenario..

At the time of application, perhaps the income documents gave them some doubts. Now that 9 months have passed, they want to see if income level still maintained, or still gainfully employed.

I would think this is a good sign if u are able to show a current employment situation no different or better than 9 months ago.

I would also concur with yoongf's assessment.
