Beauty salon malpractice. Where should I report it? Pls help

Post by Minou88 » Sat, 13 Sep 2008 4:06 pm

My husband has just returned from an ear candling session which has left him in excrutiating pain, loss of hearing on one side and feeling dizzy/losing balance.

The woman who performed it on him apologized and said she had done it on 20 people without problems.

The manager said she herself had done it at 7 occasions and the other lady had just come from China 7 months ago.

They even charged my husband!

I want to press charges but don't know how and who I have to speak to. I have to get my husband to a clinic now to see a doctor.

Please help!!

Anybody who would stick a candle in their ear deserves to get hurt.

Take it to the Small Claims Tribunal in The Apollo Building next door to MOM.

If your husband paid, then I would have thought that weakens his position. Why did he pay anyway?

He paid because they wouldn't let him leave otherwise.

They wouldn't let him leave? The man was afraid of a little lady?

Was he getting his ear candled while nude and they locked up his clothes? What was stopping him from walking out? You mentioned the girl was a PRC. Was she on a WP or was a pimp guarding the door? :???:

Something doesn't quite sound right here.

Anyway, as I said in my earlier post, take it to the small claims tribunal.
