Can anyone recommend a good dry cleaner?

Post by Tenille » Thu, 11 Sep 2008 6:16 pm

Hi All,
We have tried a few drycleaners since we moved here but they haven't been any good.
Can anyone recommend a good one? It doesn't necessarily have to be a pick-up/drop-off service as I am happy to drive there myself.
Thanks!

I should have mentioned that we live in the Orchard area so drycleaners in this region will be ideal!

Presto at the basement of Paragon. They have other branches, check their webiste. I highly recommend them. They even do minor repairs to your clothes. They also accept clothes that have sequins, glitters etc.

I have tried Laundry Queen several times because they are next to me. Lets just say I will never go to them again. I now rather go all the way to the nearest Presto.

I think they are ok for regular clothes, sweaters etc.

I was not please when I gave them my baby's brand new cot bedding set that cost about $500 and it shrank abit and looked like they washed it cause it had colour fading. Also gave them a moth smelling jacket and it came back smelling the same anyway! This is the great world city branch but I assume regardless the branch they do the laundry in one place.

This lead me to suspect they wash clothes and not dryclean? Because what they charged is too cheap for drycleaning here.
