OniGiri,
Finally i did it yesterday (17-Oct). Am feeling drowsy all day after surgery and this morning. I don't have leakage and when the staff do the drainage for me this afternoon, so little the fluid. Can see and feel the water is still inside. Do you know how to solve this problem? When was your vaser done? Not very pain but bruising and swelling all over the thighs and down to calves. I haven't seen any results yet ler... tot immediate after the surgery can see the differences. Anyway, I'do say Dr Wong is a nice guy.

Which area u did your lipo ?? I did my whole thighs and lower back.. I did it 2 weeks ago..
I think after 1st week u may see abit of the result.. now I guess there are still alot of swelling, so u wont see much different..
for the water thingy, U have to massage the area often, after about 1 week, the area will start to harden, make sure that the garment is tight, that helps to reduce hardening.. worst come to worst hor, if there's really alot of fluid inside, they might give u a jab to take out the water, but I guess thats the worst case..

OniGiRi,
I did vaser on my whole front thighs. now the swelling from upper thighs down to ankle liao. my feet so swollen! the two incision where Dr Jim leave it opened for drainage always close up itself. that's why the fluid can't flow out. everyday i go back to the clinic for drainage, they have to open the wound for me. i did it last Fri (17-Oct), doc still can't stitch for me yet cos' still got a lot of fluid inside. how do i know if my garment is tight enough? did you measure your thighs? how many inches loss? did u sign up for another five ultrasound? how much you paid for? i'm feeling a bit "sien" and "pek chek" bcos' of the swollen feet.

Hey, put a pillow under your calve when u sleep, it helps to reduce the swollen feet...
If you can wear your garment easily means its not tight..haha, if u are not sure u can ask the nurse there, I went for extra 5 ultra sound.. I think it helps to heal faster.. it depends on how long the ultrasound u need, they have 15 n 30 mins per session, 15mins is 200 for 5 session and 30 mins is 375 for 5 sessions if i'm not wrong..
I'm opp of you.. my wound keep opening.. dr wong stitch many time for me.. 2 particular wound just dont behave.. haiz.. it has been 3 weeks and i still having stitches with me.. so irritating..

BabeBabe,
i agree with you that we're here to share our own experiences. everyone is welcome to give their comments. so far, i'm quite pleased with the services provided by TLC clinic. I did my vaser with Dr Wong on 17-Oct, so far i don't see any results yet. I see only swelling and bruising all over my front and back thighs down to calves and ankle. My feet is so swollen. I'm worried as i don't see results immediately after the surgery as quoted by some others. I'm here to get some feedback and advise from members who did vaser either at TLC clinic or other places, no other motives.
OniGiRi,
thanks for your advise. can you give me your email address?

beauty queen,
you can hv 'china' barley water for reduce water retention and can hv tian qi pills for reducing bruise. vit c and protein is help for recovery also. use some warm cloth apply on bruise / swollen area. use yunnan baiyao spray (apply on bruise and swollen area help too.
i'm quite sastified wt my result as only 1 month but it seem i lost 10 kgs.
still consider for 2nd lipo for arms and tummy, as a bit scared of effect my health

maycandy,
so far so good. bruising and swelling has gone down a lot. coming to 3rd week this Friday. i can see my thighs are in better shape now. Dr Jim has done a great job! the nurses in TLC clinic are caring too. No regret to do it at the TLC clinic. I still have water retention problem, can see from the swollen feet. i went back to the clinic for ultrasound and dressing this evening, i have a wound not healing good. do you take vit c? 500mg or 1000mg per tablet one? i'll go for drainage massage as recommended by a forum member. how about you? any significant inches loss? do you wear your garment 24 hours? if so, have you changed it to 2nd stage garment?

beautyqueen,
i took 500mg + some orange / 1000mg by depending, i have a lot direct sales products (excel millenium products known as cactus juice help imflammation/wound, amway protein, birdnest and ....) think that's why my wound and bruise heal fast. infact i go back 1 week after surgery the nurses told me need at least 2 month as my lipo portion very big. but abt 3 weeks all my bruise gone.
I had all preparation before going to lipo surgery as i having slow recovery during birth time (my wound scabbed over and i stayed at hospital for few days)
i did go for slimming salon to hv 'infrared light' for circulation and 'enery house' for perspiration, but remember dun overdo esp hot blanket to avoid yr skin scald (which still in recovery). Having lot water make you go toilet cud help water retention as well.
Now i only wear during night time for the compress garment and the nurse told me that cud get a tailor to make the current garment smaller sizes so no need to spend extra money to buy again.
after lipo : it's abt 3-4 yrs i didnt wear jeans now i started and people praise i had long leg even the slimming salon staff. only abt 1 month 1 week i can see the result and am very sastisfied. i will try to get the photo fm the nurse before surgery, after 1 week surgery and now, so you can see how my bruise badly and the result. shall email to you end/early next week.
