Treatment for flaky scalp

I've been diagnosed with pityriasis amiantacea ... another flaky scalp condition (it's not dandruff) ... and has been adviced to use only baby shampoo with neutral PH and applied baby oil and olive oil ... However, I didn't find it improving at all ... Any other advice? Any recommendation for a good scalp conditioner to soothe the scalp? Thanks ...
