Hi, i am thinking of renting my car out for 6mths to 1 yr.
however its personal without company represntation.
Is it possible and what do i need to do to safe guard my car ?

ah, the best safe guard is to rent it to me for 16 weeks while i'm taking it easy in singapore! heh!
well, i've rented them directly from private owners in the past without signing documents and all was well.
i -think- it's best to get it well insured if you don't have an agreement ready coz it usually comes down to "what ifs!"
rental companies looking to "help you with your car" are evil evil evil leeches, but they have all the paperwork ready...

its will be better if u have a agreement between u and the hirer, call in to ntuc income to insure the person leasing ur car protects u too..
