Hi all,

Well the training is a pretty intense one, I might say, becos there is onlt 4-weeks of training as compared to a full-svc airline such as SQ (4-mths I think). There will be one day of grooming class, usually at the beginning of the training, so after which all trainees have no excuse to look out-of-bed. The most impt lessons will be the Safety & Emergency training and First Aid class. Currently 3K only has 200 over CC, not a big family, so everyone will eventually know everybody.

Hope the info helps..

For JSA (3K), there will be a 2 yr bond as well but u r not required to upfront any amt. However if you break the bond, u'll have to pay the price. JSA is hiring due to the expansion as they will be bringing in 2 more A330 into their fleet + more longer haul routes (ergo more opportunities for a layover).

while the pay is not attractive, it is a good benchmark if ur keen to try other full service airline in the near future. Sometimes the rejection can take load on ur mindset, but rest assured JSA do not discriminate you in anyway; not your skin, color, education or backgrd. They hire anyone with a keen interest in service, an eye for safety procedures and good working ethics.

The next training batch wld b in March if I'm not mistaken. Hence interviews wld be held soon. So..keep on sending the email okay. Even if it bounce, just send them in..avoid weekends bcos that's when their inbox wld be flooded...

whitepetals: thanks you very much for yr reply and support. will love to see u on-board too. real soon.

stellajane: your info really helps to those like me are waiting to join them. cant wait for feb when they open up for walk-in but i can feel that walk in is harder as everyone will be there.. chances are lower.. is like a fish tank with limited space of fishes to swim around.
