for those who get in all rounds and for the contract briefing don't put high hopes, its not that your going to be chosen,
you get in because they need people, most of them leave because of the pay issue, they got no choice. they filter people so much then in the end they get is nothing, thats why they set up another interview this month. try break away from the bond they will come after you for the money.
Try it , see it for yourself. this company is sick. if u didn't get in its not the end of the world, sometimes its like a *blessing in disguise. :D heheeee [ or are you jealous cause you didn't get selected?? ]
correct me if im wrong, not only JETSTAR gonna have such bond and i do belief all other airlines do have their own RULES & REGULATIONS. whoever gonna break the bond of course for sure they gonna hunt you down. it's a standard procedure for every company . if you don't wanna have a bond why chose to be with it, then complaining? its better for you to work in a fast food right

Hi...
I'm just wondering....
Does Jetstar crew has any layover, few days perhaps after their flight??
Or just turnaround flights??
Roughly how much does an average crew earns per month??
Basic??
Thank you...

Right now is turnaround flight. They used to have layover Cairns and Darwin but no more already. Basic pay is around $850 and you get paid hourly once you start flying. During probation for the first 6mths you might just get around 1.2k or 1.3k

Is that per day or flight/shift?

How many short haul flights could you do in one day?

Also...

How many working shifts is one able to do per week?

What's the free flight allowance for family and friends?

Thanks

$850 is your basic pay per month.

How many short haul flights could you do in one day?
4 shorts flight in 1 day.

How many working shifts is one able to do per week?
Depend on the flight you are doing. They will plan your roster in a way that you get to have at least 8 hrs of rest everyday. Usually you get 3 to 4 flights a week and 2 days off.

What's the free flight allowance for family and friends?
I'm not too sure about this. I only know you will get 6 discounted tickets every year for your family and friends

Did anybody went for the walk-in interview for Jetstar Airways (Australia) last friday at Grand Mercure Roxy ? Anyone got in second round?

The second round interview seems more strict than the SQ selection process i must say.

This is not the same airline as Jetstar Asia but it is Jetstar Airways first recruitment.
