Hi everyone,
Prior to one of the above questions. The salary isn't low after all. It depends on you roster. The more layovers you get, further you travel you'll obviously earn more. I think this applies to all airlines not to JQ alone. And, there isn't any upfront bond of 1.8K that you need to pay they have already removed that requirement. Should you break the 2 years contract, then will you need to pay that amount. The medical does not neccessarily be 600-700. Then again, it depends on your medical history. If you have taken vaccinations before (Hep A Hep B, etc) you'll probably pay lesser say 200- 300? I'm taking my vaccinations at the polyclinic because it's cheaper and the blood tests at Straits medical centre.
fyi, this is my 2nd time trying for JQ and I got in so for those who went once and would like to try again.. go ahead cause it'll probably give you extra confidence as it is your 2nd time. just my 2 cents of worth.
next opening: 24th August so do keep a lookout for it ladies.

Bbekandy,
Thanks for your advices..lol but I don't think stretching or skipping is gonna help any further..
Just gotta accept the facts that I'm short...haha way too over my puberty sooo heightening ain't possibly gonna work unless its surgical? Ouch! Sounds painful...haha
Btw, that day I sent in my resume to 3K at around 5pm plus then shortly after...est. around near 6pm I got the call for interview but then again invitation's taken back due to my height...oh well...at least I knew I was good enough for them...sooo I'm still not feeling the worst... =)

MademoiselleCher : no~! dont go for surgery! its not worth it.. imagine as a CC, you'll be needing your leg strength onboard, and the surgery has got side effects of weakening your legs.. dont dont...
maybe next time u say u're 156-157 ? den when they measure u, u try to tip toe a little and if still found to be 154, den you can say maybe u shrink. esp since u said you dont look short, so maybe they still might give u a chance! =D
Jiayou!! but a lil sad you wont be joining us monday~!

but that means i need to take 2 days leave! *no more leave already* and any idea how long its gonna take on the 23rd? she mentioned its only like half a day right...coz i got to go select my hdb flat at 2.15 pm on the same day! haha

I wanted to take half day leave to attend the 23rd interview.. But after reading some of the interview thingies on Jetstar.. The interview seem to be taking the whole day, split into 2 parts. (hope i dont get booted off at 1st part).. 24th.. Tuesday.. Argh.. Another leave day.. My boss would definitely jump and pull all his hair off.. *sIgH* Maybe i shall see how 23rd's interview go..

i also dunno if i should take 2 days leave coz 1) we havent received the email regarding the 23rd and 2) we're not even sure if theres really gonna be a walk-in for JQ on the 24th coz the ads are not out yet! hahaha hopefully we get our answers by next week!

Thanks Bbekandy and Starliteray~ =)
I'm just joking about the surgery part...don't worry ya..lol I wouldn't be that foolish...but I really wanna be a CC badly..haha..too bad my height..
Lyn2101,
"invitation's taken back due to my height" means I was actually called up by 3K for interview (same as Bbekandy & Bella Consuela after sending in resume) but when the lady asked for my height, she say I cannot go for the interview cuz minimium height requirement is 158. =((
My height is only 154 sometimes it measures as 153.5 or even 153 lor...damn sian(-.-")
Can I know what is your height? and are you working for JQ or 3K?
Bella Consuela,
You're going down to HDB on 23?? I'm going down too but on 22nd!! =) Are you getting the Boon Lay Grove flat? lol...I say you should go for the interview if you really want it, your hubby (if he is the flat main applicant, go down with relevant documents, will suffice...he just need to bring back the docs to let you sign and send back to HDB for processing)
Sorry off-topic...hehe both flat and interview are equally important!!!

As the reply said, you need a local sponsor. Without a local sponsor you are stuck outside of Singapore.

It was single digit and now during phase 1 it's gone up slightly...even with masks on. It's rather puzzling. I thought numbers should...
