Hi everyone,

Whatever fir-ais said was pretty much spot on. Training will commence on the oct 4th for me provided that i've passed the medi and security tests.

Do keep a look out guys because a friend of mine told me that they're hiring quite a large sum of people.

Good luck to everyone! and keep your phones near you :)

I recd a phonecall from jetstar justa coupla minutes ago and I think Im shortlisted for the interview...but quite surprising as I only sent out my resume YESTERDAY! and got a call from them TODAY! to come down for Interview on the 23rd August (Monday) at 8.30am...she also mentioned that the next batch is in Sep in a class of about 30 pax.
OK now I really gotta start preparing, any ideas how the interview goes about (ie. how many rounds), what sort of questions they'll be asking..

Congrats Bella Consuela!

I went for the Jetstar interview in July'10...Well not much people go for the interview sooo it's pretty fast to clear all...

The moment you step, hand in your photocopied highest qualification certificates, photocopy of passport with photograph page and 1 passport photo.

Then you will proceed to take your height and weight, the person who took your height will say aloud your height for his/ her colleagues to record on the interview form and pass it to you.

Next will be registration with another person. Asking you for contact details and she will enter all of the details into a laptop then you go on to fill up the interview form.

When you're done, its the one-one interview with caucasians...lady or guy depending...I was interviewed by a fat caucasian lady the other time and she is extremely polite and welcoming~

The interviewer will ask you a few questions during which, she will jot down what you said and ask you not to mind him/ her writing...Just continue speaking with confidence...

The whole process ends that...You will be informed to go back home and wait for their call by evening on the same day.

I did not get called sooo...I did not know what happens after that...Well hope this helps?

Good luck ya!

Btw the person asked you to go for interview is walk-in or straight to the office? lol if its walk-in I wanna go try again! teehee

hi, i recognised your nick from the silkair post, since u are going for the qatar interview, u didnt do too well at the silkair interview? well i guess im ok with jestar theyre pay is ok to me too coz to me ive always wanted to fly...anyway not to discourage u or anything, qatar walk-in is very tough u must make a damn good first impression coz there'll be hundreds of hopefuls and what u do is only to submit your cv and they'll base it purely on first impression or rather first look, u dont even have to talk at all. and ive heard of lots of horror stories from ex-qatar staff coz its just too too strict and you'll be very lucky if u even get a flight back to your home country. knew an ex qatar girl who broke her bond coz she couldnt take it and now happily flying in silkair..:) but but but i might be wrong, dont be discouraged, take a look at the qatar airways thread yeah..! all e best!

i guess there's no harm if i were to send my CV to Jetstar too eh, leave it to fate! =D

Hello! I sent out my resume last friday and got their call yesterday to invite me down for an interview on 23 Aug - 8.30am too. I have not receive any E-mail on the details. But a few questions i would like to find out but cant seems to find the answers anywhere.. So hope someone can help me with it

1. Whats Jetstar pay/salary on average?
2. I read about the 1.8k bond + 600-700+ medical bills that needs to be fork out piror to being hired. Is it still applicable?
3. What are the questions asked during the interview (for those that had went through with Jetstar interviews)
4. How many interviewers will be doing the interview? 1 on 1? Group - Interviewers vs you / Interviewers vs group ?
5. I read somewhere (also) that theres a maths and geography test. Is that true? Is it difficult?
