not actually..my friend is in there..the very first batch..Jetstar International's basic pay is $700. Whereas Jetstar Asia's basic pay is $850. Jetstar International has got layover flights. Yes they do..but they are
NOT being paid the layover allowances. The pay is lower cause they've just started the Singapore Based here(Only 3 batches). I was shocked to hear this too. But the other time when I went for the interview, they did show us the pay structure, and it turned out to be true. Another disadvantage is that, you will have to pay $1850 upfront. That is considered to be like a bond payment. On top of that, medical fees of about approx $700 must be paid (no claims from company). Im still thinking..of whether I wanna accpet the job offer or not. Im selected for the next batch. But thinking bout all the money issues..made me very confused now.

Previously heard from rumours that Feb there might be a recruitment with Jetstar. But till now no news given. Anyone knows friends working with Jetstar, i think they'll have the first hand of news.

I've called Jetstar HR today. Confirmed there wasn't any recruitment currently.
I suppose, now the economic is really bad no airline recruiting??

if u read e strait times or the jetstar recruitment or e forum... jetstar asia part time cabin crew are only for crew with past experience with other airlines.

no. is something like e female's uniform, just that it is not dress, is black pants and short sleeve shirt. in orange trimming and black as the main.
