pack maggie mee then.. easy and yummy... lolwhitepetals wrote:meals are definitely not provided. it's all in the allowance which u were briefed on during the interview... so how much u save really depends on how much you spend on eating.. haha. to what I know so far no airlines include meals for their crew at the hotel.. HTHs..
Just wait i suppose.. Unless you can find something better in the meantimem0nkey wrote:yea... same also... so now i dunno should i still continue to find job or wait for JQ.... >.<ben317 wrote:I got a call from them last week. but even jetstar pay may not be fantastic, its a job that i have dreamt... so i decided to go for it if they give me... let say i got another job with higher pay(i usually got 3k also), and if jetstar call me, i have to quit the job in short period... i dun want a bad record..ben317 wrote:Just wait i suppose.. So did i make the same decision.... its better to regret by doing it than not doing it...tienchin wrote:Hi, thx for the concern.. But I'm leaving my job for jet star international (JQ)stwangemily wrote:u left your job for 3K? I hope u wont regret it. Really.tienchin wrote: hi pinklady.. i'm consider lucky to be in.. i think i did ok in the 1-1 interview..But i still think theres chance of getting booted out..
and yup, made up my mind to quit my current job and join jetstar.. its a tough decision for me because giving up my current job meaning lessen abit of my salary, but in return i get to explore the asia world..
sinces I'm still young, i've decide to try out more things!
thx...
Better?

jetstar asia
Hi everyone,
I am called down for contract signing soon for jetstar asia. I really need help from crews or ex crews from jetstar asia to answer a few question before I make a decision!
1. What is the average monthly pay after cpf?
2. Do we get to fly to countries like perth and japan during our probation?
3. On average how many layover do we get a month?
4. For 4 sectors flt do we can to stay in the country for a few hours?
5. How many hours can u clock a month? (Flying hours)
Thank you! I would really appreciated if someone can assist me in all these questions!

Actually there are posts that answered ur question if u read through last few pages of the thread.
My questions to you is, are you with Jetstar Asia(JK) or Jetstar International(JQ)?
the below answer will be true for Jetstar International.
Ans 1 : around 1.7/1.8k after cpf
Ans 2 : yes, since day one u will be flying all routes. not only limited to short hall (according to stage 3 interview Q&A sessions)
Ans 3 : if i m not wrong, will have 5-8days layover in sg for JQ(sorry i am not too sure abt this and dun have the info)
Ans 4 : for JQ, minimum layover will be 24hrs.
Ans 5 : 100-120 a mth
hope the answers do help you in a way. pls remember, my answer is for JQ.... for JK, u still need to verify though they are abt the same.

Thanks or your info! Yes I did read through the 45 pages of forum, however I am joining jetstar asia(3K) not international.
I realise that there is very little and unclear info abt jetstar asia(3K) hence I hope someone can help me out!
Thank you!!

1. What is the average monthly pay after cpf?
Depends with the number of hours you work. the more you work, the more cash you get.
2. Do we get to fly to countries like perth and japan during our probation?
there is no longer perth layover. Japan yes. and you do get to fly there during yr probation.
3. On average how many layover do we get a month?
Depends on your luck. maybe 1 or 2.
4. For 4 sectors flt do we can to stay in the country for a few hours?
nope. you wont want to anyway cause you would be ready to return back home.
5. How many hours can u clock a month? (Flying hours)
As many as your body can take.
Hope this answers your questions for 3K.

Help! I am confused and lost!
is there any current or ex CC of singapore-base JQ in this thread/forum?
i was selected but i did some research on other threads and found that we are taking home 1.3k-1.8k. during the interview/briefing session, they mentioned 1.7-1.8k. I cant survive with 1.3k. my previous job, i used to take home above 2.5k. i am kinda helping my family as well. so if 1.3k,
i m having set back thought due to "1.3k"? so i wanna ask
1.is that really true about taking home 1.3k sometimes?
2.is that possible to ask for more flying hours?
3.do we have to deposite 1.8k before we start flying?
4.i have pretty forgotten the allowance and flying pay, so if anyone remember/know that, can share me again?
5.what if i signed the offer, then i wanna withdraw it before training start, will there be penalties?
once again, thanz.
