Sharky: yeah they said may but ultimately, have to wait for Aus to give them the date n green light hence, we can't be so sure but let's just hope it's Apr too!! Haha the faster the better ! Thinking of it makes me excited to the core. Melbourne 2 weeks! Hopefully also, Australia recovers from the damages done by mother nature. Queensland cyclone n flood, melbourne's flood, perth's forest fire.

im already starting to save up for medical already..planning to go to polyclinic n haf my jab done so that no nid to spend so much at the clinic...

Just wanna share my interview process to all people who are waiting for their next interview..

I went for their walk in interview on the 8th Feb 2011, Grand Roxy Hotel.
After handing up your personal details.. Height Measurement will be done.. Just a small reminder.. Bring all your stuff as what Jetstar requested.. Some of them forget to photocopy and was told to photocopy them at the hotel lobby, not sure if they have to pay but if they have too.. It should be pretty expansive.. is also an haste to everyone.. SOme even nv bring their nric/passort.

So after you had your measurment done, u are requested to fill up the application form. So when u are done, someone from Jetstar will mannul list it up into the Jetstar system. Remember to double check your HP number as is super super important.. Im sure u wan them to call u ya.

Than head to another room for your 1 to 1 interview. As there was quite a number of ppl waiting as well so the waiting time was like 20-40 min for mine.

My interviewer was guy. He ask me questions like :
1 - Share with him my past experiences.
2 - What was the most unforgetable customer service had u ever done for a customer.
3 - How do u manage your time with your love ones when u are not in singapore.

After the interview, he told me if im selected, Jetstar will give me a call by this evening and it came true. I receive a call from them saying i was selected for the 2nd round interview and was told to come back tml at 0845, same place. Bring along your swimsuit too as there will be an swimming test if you get into the 3rd round.

Day 2, there was about 70 ppl selected. Divided into 7 groups.
We was first intro to Jetstar background.. Than we played 3 games and into a math and geo test. The test was only for 15-20 mins if im not wrong. The test was very tense up cause is like 2 full page of question and a short time-frame. I left one question empty. I really have not enough time.. After all had been done, We head out the ballroom. Waiting for the final call..

Out of the 70 plus ppl.. 30 was selected if im not wrg.. Sad to say, i was told to leave.. I myself know i did badly on the test. But.. I know i did my best. Although they did mention that they will selected us basic on our overall performance which include Day 1 & Day 2. But i somehow feel that they are more into Day 2 performances..

Those 30 ppl who was selected, all i can say is that most of them are really pro-active, out-going.. I think the key thing.. Keep smilling.. Be pro-active.. Just like wat Jetstar requirements are like.. Lucks play a huge part too.. For mine table, only 1 guy was selected. He is really super pro-active for all the 3 games.. Guess that y he is the only one who got selected.

Nobody know when is the next Jetstar opening day so meanwhile.. Like wat others say.. read up on Jetstar info.. It really helps.. Esp during the test on the Day 2. Where Jetstar fly, their planes model, their map etc..

Mend that broken heart like mine and patiently awaiting their next interview people out there.. U are not alone..

its tuesday today! and its been a week since we went for the walk-in. so, maybe they'll call today? haha. hmmmm.

no idea, xiaomei. probably in 2-3mths time? cos from past years, they've been holding walk-ins 3-4 times a year. so yep. hope that helps. u can also update yourself from their facebook page cos they'll advertise it there too!
