Part Time maid needed Urgent!

Post by Kareena » Wed, 03 Sep 2008 1:55 pm

Hey all,
I really need a part time maid...but all the agency ones say its like miminum 4 hours per day which is useless cause i have a small apartment
and 2 young kids so calling the maid once or twice a week makes no sense. I need someone to come by 6 days a week for 2 hours a day.
Anyone interested or know of someone who would be interested plz contact me urgent!! thanks loads!
Ps- I live in River Valley.

Looking for a part-time shared maid

Post by cgeaux99 » Fri, 26 Sep 2008 6:52 am

Hi,
I will move in on the 1st of Oct. at the Villa Marina on the East Coast district 16, and I am looking for a part-time maid coming once a week mainly for ironing and cleaning the house (dusting and mopping, bathrooms and kitchen cleaning, and further dish washing).
Pls feel free to send me your recommendations for serious and reliable part-time shared maid.
Regards,

There are a number of housekeeping services links in my signature link below. Sharing of maid, if they are not Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, are forbidden by law in Singapore. Therefore we cannot advise or recommend that you follow that path. The links provided are in the business so therefore you are legally okay. Anybody say they would like to share their full time maid will probably be trying to circumvent the law which could get ALL THREE of you in trouble. The employer, the maid and yourself.

I want to suggest being friends with a local. You never know what he/she can assist you with. I have been helping expats for years and new ones coming in are mostly by word of mouth.
