Tradegy if one of those cars crashes with an unrestrained child in the car.
Multiple tradegy with far greater (human) consequences if one of those flat bed trucks filled with labour workers hurtling down the ECP were to crash. Just how THAT can be legal here in Singapore I have no idea.

I agree that it is far too dangerous/stupid not to buckle your kids up. But look at the way they are in traffic in general. They speed, they drive so recklessly, the lane changing, the pedestrains crossing the roads when ever and where ever. They are putting themselves and others in extrem danger and are setting the worst example for their and our children.

I have 2 young children myself and the way people behave in traffic here makes me want to pick them both up and run away and make sure that they'll never get near a road.
