There are working to Hong Kong then working back. Some patterns will overnite at Hotel neat Kitty city.
You can used the world-class Sin pubilic transport system to get to and from WSSS.

I think what baby_jarel means we have to take our own transport to work (airport) and back home. As in when we start work.

All Hong Kong based Singaporeans were hired long, long time ago.
No doubt your relative must be quite senior.
Yup that's true i have to agree with you . But for all the Sin based please be proud of yourself because you are able to handle the most difficult flts which HK based crew might not even capable to. If there're mix flying, they will always salute us and admire our capability. Mind you we also have a number of Malaysian join us as Sin based, so i don't think this is between the countries man but is the person how they carried themselves and working attitude. No doubts SQ also have very nice and friendly Cabin crew and of course the snob one same with all other airlines in the world

For the transport allowance it depends on your roster. If you are having 2 SIN-HKG sectors back to back then you will ge the allowance for the 1rst day taxi for going back home and 2nd day forth and back from work. If you have SIN-CMB then you will always get the allowance for going back home from CMB. Bare in mind also, this allowance means sharing taxi and the last person have to pay the lum sum and claim from the company. So always remember to keep your taxi receipt. Hope this will clear your doubts.
