I think you got to make it clear or just ask if the crew were SIN base, coz as a SIN base crew i don't remember we do any CX 716.
Blade wrote:CX 716 yesteday. Can always tell Singapore based Cx crew viz HK based.
They are so slip shod.Come on gals/guys wake-up! This is not a Singapore airline.Don't bring your SENGKEK attitude to work. You give Singaporeans such a bad name.

''....wonder where it leads to... ''
CX 716 is a direct SIN-HKG service.Equipment used is 773.
This pattern has been in exsistent for 10 years?
So the answer: ''it leads to Hong Kong'' [sic]
And I agree with Blade there is a tremendous disconnect in work style, motivation, presentation, etc between HK base and Sin base.
I understand they don't recruit Sin ppl for HK base since 1993?

well so if cx716 leads to hkg over 10 yrs of existence its not one of the sin base route...even for cx710...these are usually for hkg base crew to operate back to hkg when they have done their 3 days pattern in sin to be exact if u wan.
i guess the diff why ppl are making comments btw sin n hkg base is the
promotion rate,
but they haven thot that sin base get lower pay,
no layover at other countries,
flts to hkg n sin is ALWAYS full, when sin base are doing it 24/7, turn arounds are jus as tough as long hauls. pls correct me if i'm wrong but hkg crews are ALWAYS reporting sick for sin flts, cause they find it tough.
There are so many other bases like San Franc etc who have their points too....even a mgr post can be given within 3 yrs of exp in those bases.
Each base have their gd n bad points...so jus give n take...no point making these hurting remarks...

Girls, take the comments posted at face value, don't take it personally.
HK permanent crew hate Sin flight bcos: have to 'handle Singaporeans'.
Ad neasuem comments like ''SQ better'' etc.Plus asking for ALL the PEANUTS too..

This is a response to question: why no recruitment for HK based Singaporean. They have stopped hiring Singaporeans for several years now.
All Hong Kong based Singaporeans were hired long, long time ago.
No doubt your relative must be quite senior.
