anyway, has anyone got the reply from them?? mmm been checking my email everyday but no reply yet.

any previous applicants (mar08) applied again? the ban is 6 mths if u reach the final round right? well it has been 6 mths since the last recruitment so i think i should be eligible to apply for it?? lotsa question marks in my head now...

they wont reply u till their interview deadline is over..you will only hear them after that coz they will have to do pre-selection. thks.

to Plavt...
Sin Base do turns in one day, Sin to Hkg n back to Sin on the same day.
If not a night flight to CMB and back in Sin the next morning.

The objective of Sin Base is to do turn arounds as most of them are ex crew, tired of long hauls or either have a family n wants to go back home everyday.
So they jus earn from the flying hours, but when layover in hkg, allowance is quite gd compared to Hkg Crew coming to Singapore for layover. As Hkg currency dropped slightly.

So in the beginning there are layovers...shortly after the crews are triple qualified they wil only do turns n no layovers and allowance...
If lucky u might get 1-3max layover a month...

Yupz, precisely. turnard is only one time a day coz SQ do not perform 2x turnsard a day...if it realli is, the crew will K.O before the next sector.. especially HKG flts... coz HKG flt is the so called 'terrible' one coz alot of ad-hoc orders even before the meal commercement... haha...

I know, one of your posts was a little confusing when you mentioned 2 turns still no harm done.

I didn't know anything about the the HKG-BKK-SIN route though.

Just a side question, anyone know how long is the notice period?
Lets say i can only start after 3-4 months later, can i apply for the job now?

that's the beauty of a BB you can can generate as much nonsense as you like.A few ppl will actually get hissy fits!!

Roster: Sin-hkg-Bkk-Sin G Sin-hkg-bkk G till end of month..Lovely.

The concept of basing was tro save costs.Pretty tough schdule and pay very low.

actually, i dont quite understand what are u trying to convey. maybe the last part about saving money for the company make some sense.. but this is what all companies are doing what. sounds abit redundant

Not at all, read my former posts.

You will not believe the attrition rate.

So if you are applying, make sure you are 100% comitted and have no illusions about the job.Don't waste co. TIME AND RESOURCES.

They could have trained somebody else..

No hissy fit OK?
