CX Singapore base Flight attendant recruitment 09/2008!
i went for the recruitment drive early this year but only made it to the 1st round. it was a self intro + group discussion and there were 12 people in my group.Jojoleona wrote:hi dear all, hw was interview tdy? i heard from a current cx crew sayin tt 1st is in grp 8-10, for self intro n then grp disscussion, aft tt ul ve to wait for 1-2 wks for them to reply whether u r being selected.
then 2nd round will b u alone w the interviewer...=)
this time round i applied again and i just went on monday.. and alot of candidates didn't turn up and hence they split everyone into 2 groups with 6 people in each group. so i guess the no. of people in each group depends on how many people turn up for the session.
after the discussion, everyone was given a yellow slip stating shortlisted candidates will be notified within the next 2 weeks and what documents to bring if shortlisted for 2nd round, which is the final interview. but i'm not too sure if it's a 1-1 or 2-1 interview.
then the next day morning, i already received a call from cathay that i'm selected for final interview next week. so it's pretty fast.. don't have to wait for 2 weeks as stated on the yellow slip.
the topic differs from each group discussion.. as my group had the question on how to improve the in flight entertainment when i was there during the march recruitment.
this time round my group had the question on what attributes do we think a best employee should have.. ours was quite a relax and effective discussion i would say.. everyone contributed their own point of view and we work out the top 3 attributes together as a group.
i guess they're looking for someone who is not shy to speak in front of strangers and a team player who can work out the question with the group members.

majority of us wore formal office wear.. but don't have to be blazer/full suit.. just a shirt/simple top + pants/skirt. at least present yourself in such a way that you are professional enough to wear office attire and you respect the job.Dylla wrote:Wow...Congratsss to u for making it to the Final Round..ur lucky to receive call from Cathay that fast..

previously, before going, everyone came here to seek for info.. now that the 1st round of interviews are done, the thread suddenly become so quiet & nobody's replying

the interview was not as tensed as any other local airline interview...its more like a chit-chat session..very relaxed i should say...
Lets keep our fingers cross and hope to be receiving good news from CX!
