BABIS...Weight loss support...Skinnies please move on :)
Big and Beautiful in Singapore...Dont laugh...Its the best I can do right now...
Hi gorgeous plus sizers...and we are gorgeous...but all this gorgeousness is starting to affect my health and ability to fit in my Toni&Guy hair salon chair...
Are you tired of thigh chafing, wearing baggy clothes and melting in the Singapore heat...
I would love to start a support group/thread here...
Maybe chat here and meet once a month?
We all have pools and gyms (generalising) but if like me, you are comfort eating...maybe we can do something about it together...
I start working next week, I had to get a job as being an at home "Expat Wife" is making me bigger! So hoping that helps cut the snacking...
Both hubby and I are starting a new fitness regime on Monday, but if you have tried to lose weight beofre you know how important support is...
Is Anyone interested in joining me? I have posted this here in Beauty and Health and also in Events and Friends, group etc...not sure which is the best place? Moderator?
I would prefer Making friends, Events section if you are going to cancel one of my threads- as doubling up is not allowed?
I am 36 Aussie Female (Holland area)

Hi!
I'm neither big and beautiful nor am I skinny but I have been trying to lose weight since forever and have recently started trying to work out and stuff like that. But I snack more than anyone I know.
Oh I'm no expat either. Local who just moved back and am feeling kinda lost and stuff. 27, female. Pick me?

Hooray Azaleapath! Good to meet another SNACKER...
Welome to our new club...maybe we shoud be called "snackers anonymous"
Whether you have 5kg or 50kg to lose..this is the thread for YOU!
Lets just be here to support each other and when we get some action here happening then we can start a monthly meet up!
I am so pleased you wrote...and I know there are more of you out there...
I am planning to start a new life plan on Monday 1st of Sept..Want to join me?
My plan will be all about small regular portions of vegetable, salad, fruit, nuts, lean meat, brown rice and low fat dairy and increase my excersize regime..more on that later...
Not going to use the word DIET..as a matter of fact- I want that word BANNED from this thread!
Talk again tomorrow after I shop for Monday...going to make a vegetable soup in advance for lunch (easy to take to my new job) and dinner will prepare in advance Sunday as well (Brown rice, asian greens and steamed chicken breast) for Mon/Tue...
I find the first 2 days the toughest- BUT if I prepare and plan in advance, easier to stay on the wagon

Snackers anonymous...I like that.
I do try to eat healthy and control my portions and have started jogging and sometimes I skip lunch at work (okay I know one shouldn't skip meals) but the snacking kinda cancels out all the other healthy stuff I do. And it's worse when I'm pmsing cause then I don't ever stop.
But that's good that you're starting on your new life plan! Actually I'll be joining you cause Ramadan begins tomorrow and we start fasting too so I hope I manage to lose some weight this whole month and then keep them off too!
Yeah diet is stupid and sounds more like a phase one goes through. Think it's important to eat healthy and in moderation and to stick to it for the long run. It's not always that easy though but you are not alone!
And I'm thinking about taking part in the Breast Cancer walk Oct 4th and the Standard Chartered Run in Nov or Dec or something. Wanna join me?
Good luck with the job and the new life plan! Let me know how it goes.

Running, exercising?
If any of you are interested in running with me, PM me! Running works for me but I just to be more discipline

instead of diet, use the world solution =). you should eat 5-6 meals a day as it helps stablize your blood sugar levels, 3 normal meals and 3 smalls meals would be good.
A small meal can be a handful of almonds, or a plate of vegetables, fiber and protein will help keep you full therfore you dont binge or have cravings for sugar.
Im not mentioning this like a know it all, i have lost around 20kg so i understand what one needs to go through.
