Can finally breath easy.
My P1 took 2 weeks and my new wife's DP took just 1 week.

Serviced apartment booked. will just have to find an apartment during October. Hopefully prices may have dropped a bit more by then

I’m thinking of applying under the PTS/professionals scheme now.
However, in about 3 years I’ll also be eligible to apply under the FTS/family ties...

Also PR becomes much harder to obtain in your 40s. I would apply asap and if you fail then reapply once married for two years.
