Car Insurance - rough estimat

Post by Dave1w » Tue, 26 Aug 2008 5:06 pm

I just arrived here and have sorted out a car, a little Suzuki Swift. I have been quoted around $1700 for fully comp insurance.

Does this sound about right? I am mid 30's driving for 17 years, and it is only a 1.2 car. I don't have any applicable no claims deiscount as I spent the last 2 years not drive.

Probably about right then. I just arrived and have a 2.5l Murano, ands it costs me $2500.

It should go considerably down for you with one year no claims bonus next year.

If its a brand new car, its probably right. If the car is more than 3 yrs old, you should get it cheaper, about $1500 range.
