Hi all,
I'm relocating back to Australia in about a months time and I have quite a lot of furniture which I would like to sell off before I leave as I don't need to bring them back with me. I have tried posting my items online without much luck.
Does anyone know if there are any places in Singapore which buys second hand furniture? Any assistance or advise would be great!
Thanks.

2 Ideas-
The Expat Living magazine has a section where you can try and sell your stuff- pick one up and see if it works for you.
Or, try putting ads up in the supermarkets- I know the carrefour has a board set up and I've seen those around in other places.

Do you have a friend at the American Club who could post an ad for you on their bulletin board?

Advertising in a monthly magazine may be too long a lead time for your requirements, you're only here for a month.
I'd say try post on mothers sites, and or boards in mother groups in the malls (e.g mother group in Tanglin Mall, we saw that they are mad for furniture and most items had been updated as sold)
Also have you tried the facebok classifieds?
I put my desk on there and had two replies.

HI ACT,
Can you send me an email with photos and prices of what you are selling? I might be interested in some items and might know people also who might be interested.
Thanks.
Chris

I am in the same boat. I've posted a bunch of stuff on Craigs list and sold just about all of it (at about 30 cents on the dollar). Stuff moves... but buyers are few and always low ball.

I’m in the middle of setting up a little study space for my kids and came across HA Furniture Singapore. They’ve got cute desks,...

Never heard of this brand.
I just get adult size tables and chairs because they grow out too fast, waste of money to buy kids sizes.
