Publishing a children's book

Post by chixchix » Fri, 22 Aug 2008 10:57 am

I love writing children stories and tales. I mean story books for kids aged 2-5.

However, does anyone know how do we get the book published ?
Like, Do I need to get a cartoonist to do drawing for me. ?
How much do I need to pay a publisher to publish a book?

Does the publisher help in marketing out our books ?
WHat are the profits like ?

You might try contacting Alex Chacko at Flame of the Forest Publishing a local publishing house. Alex is the founder but he used to be a Journalist. FooF Publications does most of the Ghost Stories, SPG Series of Funny Books, "I am a model" by Bonnie Hicks and many others.

Good luck, wish I could write!
