Hi
Any Dr Who fans out there pls? Just landed and can't download iPlayer to watch repeats ('not allowed'). Called Starhub and they don't have it. Has anyone out there gotten round this? Your help would be greatly appreciated = withdrawal symptoms are getting real bad...

Huge thanks......Durain!!!
Will get technical savvy person to translate and implement. Feel the doom and gloom lifting as we 'speak' (must be due for a regeneration). Think we might go the proxy PC route.
And tx for repeating your instructions (again!) for this newbie tho I did do a search in handily placed search box and got a load of stuff about plastic surgery - come to think of it, would be very useful if I start saving now!!

if someone in the UK is willing to "house" a laptop on the internet running a proxy for you, then you are sorted. if they are in london, i can help out with the setup.

Check the BBC Entertainment channel on StarHub, or one of the BBC channels anyway. I thought i saw adverts for the channel that flashed a clip of Dr.Who.
Of course, there are alternative methods too, i haven't missed an episode yet

Download foxyproxy for Firefox and add a UK anonymous proxy from:
http://www.xroxy.com/proxy-country-GB.htm
Works like a charm for iPlayer.
