Buy House at Spore

Hi All,

Need Advise.

I intend to buy a 4 room HDB house at Spore. But still dun understand the procedure. Even i ask the HDB officer but the answer they give make me more blur. I just want to know, how much should i pay for the agent fee, how much should i cash out, how much is the lawyer fee and stamp fee, can i use up all my cpf saving and any others fee i need to pay by cash?

I dun hv too much cash on hand and my cpf saving is more than 50k. Tired to rent a house cos dunno when the owner will suddenly ask us out w/o reason and now the rental fee is so high till i feel prefer to buy a house and pay the instalment.

so you local ah? this forum mostly gwai low, so you asking them how to buy a house? if HDB officer info make you blur, then this forum will make it more blur. you should ask the HDB offficer to explain it to you not so blur mah.

Hopefully, you are one of the following:

1) Singaporean or PR
2) Married (to a Singaporean or PR)
or
3) Singaporean and over 35 (if single) but you won't be allowed to buy a 4 room flat. Only a 3-room flat.

If you meet all the above criteria, find an agent and they will give you all the facts if you ask them.

OR, go to the HDB website and start reading.
