Are the number of idiots posting advertisements increasing?

Is it just my imagination, or lately has there been an increasing number of people whose first post is an advertisment?

So frustrating!!!

No more than usual. I've just been more busy at work than usual so haven't been able to waste as much of my work day! So that means the ads stay up longer than usual before one of us stomps on 'em!

Normally you all never get a chance to see but about 10% of 'em, except durain, who, with his odd hours (babies will do that!) usually toys with the early morning ones before I get to 'em.

I don't think the number is increasing, there seem to be periods when more than usual appear and other times when mods and admin hardly see any.

I have deleted two today and many during various nights while most of Singapore and my fellow mods are sleeping. In addition there may be times when there are few or no moderators around as we have our respective lives to lead and can't always be available.

Just something we have to live with I'm afraid.
