It's more than average. A local school teacher would get around S$2500. If they offer you than kind of price + accomodation, well it's very generous.

For a local teacher, yes, it's a good deal. For an expat teacher....well, it's at the bottom rung of the ladder, but still a good deal. I think you may be able to negotiate a bit.
