Hi

We have recently moved to Singapore and are looking for somewhere to live. Can anyone give me some information about Sommerville Park and what it is like.

Thanks

Hi,

Stayed there for 3 years, its a good place with a good big swimming pool which is empty in the evenings and pretty much very quiet all around

The only thing I've realised after moving out it is that all the communication is by bus which is ok for Orchard Road , but takes abit of time to get home from City due to traffic, its faster now cause I use MRT. Also, if you drive you will face jam on Farrer Rd most of the time during pick hour traffic and they just cant stop digging it (Farrer Rd)

offtop: I cant recall when there was no construction on Farrer Rd

How long do you think to get to CBD and Orchard in peak time traffic? Peak time being 8-9am and 5-6pm or other times?

Thanks

Getting to CBD/Orchard in the morning will be max about 20-30 mins, but getting home in the evening could be quite a bit longer because of traffic and the route you have to come back.

It is a nice laid back place though, and if you like decent sized rooms and don't want an ultra modern place it is good.
