Are there family friendly condos near to CBD? Short term?

Post by Charlene26 » Mon, 11 Aug 2008 11:37 pm

We are trying to decide whether to live near my office (100 Beach Road, where middle road joins it) or somewhere that is up to 30 minutes via MRT or Bus.

We have a two year old and would like a place where other families live, but not too suburban as we are city people from London! We are only in Singapore for 4 months so thought it would be good to stay central - any recomendations about where to live - Budget up to $S5,000 pm.

Also any reccomendations for how to find Short Term Accomodation would be appreciated too!

Short term - alot of expats tend to stay in Service Apartments. Great world city Service Apartment is nice and convenient. It is next to a shopping mall where theres a cinema, lots of restaurants and cafes, supermarket etc. I have no idea what their rates are. I live next to it and have a friend that stays there. Its very kids friendly and we tend to go over for swim playdates. They even have a bar by the pool where they sell snacks. Its like staying in a hotel by the looks of it. Its central in river valley.
