defect vitamin product, what to do now? pls advise.

Hi all,

I bought GNC vitamin for my wife, she is pregnant. However, in less than 2 weeks of using, we saw many mouldy spots inside one bottle. (I keep three bottles in coll and dry place, but one has mouldy problem, other bottles don't have).

Now, I am very worried about this. Any impact to the baby. As far as I know, baby inside the mother, the immune system is not yet developed.

Can anybody give me advice how to handle this case? I have not spoken to GNC but I am not happy with this as I bought an expensive product and now overwhelm of worries for my wife and my baby.

Thanks.

Why haven't you spoken to GNC? That should be your contact of first resort not a forum. They may just replace the bottle for you. You haven't tried so I would suggest you go there first.

first things first - i'm sure your wife and baby are fine. you'd be surprised at how well protected the baby bean is on "the inside" :)

have a word with your doctor or nurse - even over the phone just for the reassurance.

lastly - like SMS said - take the bottles back to GNC - i'm sure they will replace them.

Thank for your replies. I am less worried now and in the process of talking to doctors and GNC officers.
