I've been playing pool for 5 years, but I'm still a novice....

I don't really know how to play for position...

Plus I don't have my own cue

I'd love to play pool although I totally suck. I'm really really bad, don't know anything at all but that hasn't stopped me from trying! I don't mind getting some help so I can improve my game if anyone's patient enough.
