Hi,

Im finding a clinic to make my braces but dunno which one is gd, any recommandation? I except abt 3k plus. any reputed Orthodontist for adults in ard north?

im looking for 1 too .. hopefully in north area...
Here's a piece of my advice. Do reconsider if you are visiting the Orthodontist at Vista point (Woodlands) for bracing. The orthodontist couldn't explained the procedures for bracing properly. In addition, his not patient towards our queries. I also saw them demanding an Indian lady to compromise the time for bracing session hostily. Furthermore, the clinic did not explained the consultation fees clearly. Initially, they said that the consultation fees to the Orthodontist was 45 bucks. But after the consultation session, they demanded additional 10 bucks saying that because we had a long consultation when we were in there for around 30 -40 mins only. Consultation is about clearing all our doubts regarding bracing, so i think discussion with the orthodontist for around 30 - 40 min is absolutely reasonable. And they did not inform us beforehand that there is additional charges if the consultation hours is "long". Moreover, they charge around 4.2K just for the bracing alone.

Orhtodontist with patience

Beware of general dentists doing braces, as they are not specialists, so they may not be able to answer all the questions. My niece almost got conned to having braces treatment with a general dentist, no wonder he was so pushy and charges low price!
She is now seeing Dr Ang Poh Kang (www.justbraces.com.sg ), not only is he patient and friendly, he is also very experienced and skillful...he has a Distinction in Master in Orthodontics!!! Price is reasonable, and he has all the most advanced equipment, including a digital x-ray machine, so we didn't have to wait for the x-ray developing, is immediate!
The clinic environment is comfy, even have a PS2 for the patients to play.

Strongly recommend Dr Ang :D

I suggest going there and taking some photos and stuff. Quotes aren't very accurate cos it differs from person to person. Also, don't only go to the cheapest one, I would rather spend more and go to a skilled orthodontist.

Highly suggest not doing braces at a dentist.
Usually if the price is too low, it's probably a dentist doing orthodontic work.
I've read of many cases where people have their braces done by a dentist, and the result is bad!

I did mine in TP Dental at Orchard Ngee Ann Tower B 26th floor. TP Dental. Ask for Dr Hwang. Say her brother's friend recommend you.
