My British bf is hoping to move over to Singapore so we can be finally end our long distance relationship.
He has more than 3 years experience working as Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer ( in manufacturing and aerospace infustry). He is wondering how is the job market for engineers here, e.g will he get decent enough job?what is the expected salary for someone with 3.5 experience?what kind of companies that he should look out for etc? As Im in the financial services industry, I have no idea whats out there for him.
I heard about Roll Royce planning to open their manufacturing plant here in Singapore, if im not mistaken in 2009. anyone has more insights on this or know of anyone working with Roll Royce?
