Hi,
Dear all friends,
If you know what is my PC problem please help, i will appreciate so much!

I got a small laptop with Windows Vista Home Basic program, with wireless card built-in, i can go online in Mc donalds, but I could not go at my office. My office has no IT department as HQ is in USA, except my laptop, others can access without any problems.

I checked with the retailer,it has no problem at their shop, my office peole tell me that nobody has the same problem. I need the internet and need help.

regards
lg

why are you double posting? to get double the help?

i think the forum members already helped you a lot but without the proper information which only your company can provide, we cant help you anymore.

you need to escalate this back to your company, not to this forum!

Tell you what..... look in the Yellow Pages under Computer Services or some such place and hire a guy to come round to your office. Since your company appears to have no competent local IT support themselves, add the bill to your expenses.

I guess the area around company does not have any wireless signal hence u won't be able to connect.

If u wish to do internet anywhere in SG, u can sign up Singtel broadband on mobile. The lowest plan is $22 (less 30% discount promotion) with 1 year contract where they provide u a free USB modem. Once u plug in the USB modem, u can surf internet whereever u go! :)

For more info on the plan, checkout http://home.singtel.com/bbmobile/HS_promotions.htm

Cheers!

Based on OP's other posts I would suggest that they call Dog as ask him to fix it. Should be a piece of cake!

the most likely cause, is ur wireless profile is still based on Macdonalds wifi.
so to get your company wifi, u need to rescan and login to your company's wifi profile.

or is your company using any WEP or encryption?
