Mandarin classes during the day.

I've just moved to Singapore i am not working so am looking for things to occupy me during the day time. I am interested in learning basic mandarin but would prefer to attend a class as this may also open up opportunities to meet people. Does anyone know of classes that take place during the week days? so far i have only found evening or weekend classes.

Can anyone recommend any Mandarin classes which can teach parent and child together? My child is 4 and I would like to learn Mandarin together with...

It's usually not taken together. Most classes are by age groups and school level.

Yep, with such a massive age gap I can't imagine a group class...

Not sure if I am the only one, did anyone else here gained weight during the 1 week+? Pretty appalled by my weight gain..certainly not eating a lot...
